Hello my name is Christel Pitner.  I have been teaching for over 19 years, working in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade.  I graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education.  I have my master's in Reading through Walden University.  I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy.  I have worked in a number of districts throughout the state and am so happy to be back home doing what I love.  I have 2 great kids!  My daughter, Rylee,  is a senior and my son, Logan, is in the 7th grade. Teaching is definately my passion and I am so blessed to be working with some outstanding educators.  I am excited to make the move to 2nd grade and look forward to an amazing year!
