Hi,

I am the Reading Specialist this year and this is my second year of teaching. I went to Central Washington University to obtain my bachelor's of the Arts in Elementary Education in 2007 and student taught 3rd grade in Fall 2009. I have done subbing in many different school districts around Washington state. I have subbed in Pacific County, Grays Harbor County, and King County. When I started subbing in King County my first long term assignment was a full year of Kindergarten in Burien. I have experience subbing in all grades through the elementary schools. I plan to use my experience in all the grades I have subbed with as well as my year of kindergarten to create enriching lessons to help struggling readers improve and reach thier reading goals. I look forward to a great year here at Lake Roosevelt Elementary!
