There will be no school this coming Monday for students; it is a LID day for teachers to have meetings.

 

Students, if you are interested in joining the Digital Photography Club please come to the informational meeting today at lunch in the library!

 

There is no after school program today.

 

Please have all Northwest Indian youth conference permission slip turn into the office by Tuesday.

 

Juniors, remember that the March SAT is this Saturday.

 

All girls and boys basketball players need to have their gear turned in to Mr. Wilson’s office by the end of the day TODAY.  Fines will be issued beginning Monday.

 

Athletes- remember that your sports participation fee is due before you compete in your first game.  For baseball and softball that is this coming Tuesday.

 

Reminder to all Sophomores, and any juniors or seniors who have not passed the reading and/or writing sections of the WASL.  HSPE (formally WASL) testing will be next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.  Please remind your parents and if at all possible do not schedule to be gone on any of the testing days.  No make up days will be scheduled this school year and you will have to wait to test in August.

 

A dog has been found- the dog followed a student to the school from pole park and is a brown and black skinny large dog, maybe Mastiv?  If you know of anyone missing a dog please talk to Corina Dick-Nomee or Kim Barry.

 

Take the ‘Milk Shake Challenge’ Do you think you can do it!!!! The challenge will be the week of March 22nd-26th Objective- Drink 5…. yes FIVE …24oz. milk shakes in 30 minutes or less and compete against other challengers.  Rules- You must consume all 120 oz. in the time frame given and there are no breaks for bathroom etc…, if you throw up, or spill your cup you will be disqualified. Prize-Bragging RightsJ!! Also you will be refunded the cost of entering the challenge and will receive a gift certificate for future milk shake purchase from Tee-Pee.  Cost- $5.00.Sign up for and pay at the office to Debbie or Lisa.  Limited spots available (5) each day during that week.  Challenge will take place during lunch in the gym, audience welcome to watch and cheer on your favorite person.  Staff invited to participate and compete.

 

Juniors remember the "Spring Carnival" coming up on March 20th at Center School.  Several of you signed up to participate during the event.  We will be contacting you to bring baked goods for the "Cake Walk" and remind you of your stations.  Please check on the office counter for a copy of the game assignments.  All of you are needed to help support this fundraiser.

 

SHARP Kids morning check in happens every morning in the library from 7:50 to 8:25. Stop in and finish homework or play board games.

 

The blood drive will be Monday, March 22nd.  If you are over 16 and would like to save up to three lives by donating blood sign up at the office and get a parent permission form filled out.

 

There will be Freestyle wrestling practice on Monday and Wednesdays at 5:00.

 

Applications for the Youth Conservation Corps summer job for the National Park Service is available in Pathways.  Applications are due by March 31.

 

The USBR has five openings for Reclamation Guides.  The opening date is March 5 and the closing date is March 19.  This application is also available in Pathways.

 

Junior Boys, if you are interested in becoming a "Mr. Tux Ambassador" (representative) and earn a free Tux rental for prom, check on the office counter for applications.

 

There will be a food handler’s card test at the Nespelem Employment & Training office on April 7th @1:00.  Pre payment of $10.00 must be received by March 12th at the Employment office in Nespelem.  First 20 payments will be accepted.
